43  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / little deer and ghost birds on: June 26, 2005 07:01:29 PM
here is my latest (finished) embroidery project. it's kind of hard to see but there are white birds all around the tree. I think this will be a pillow once I find some nice fabric to match. Smiley
44  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / knit vs crochet = left vs right brained?? on: June 07, 2005 11:00:10 AM
what do you all think? I have a theory that right brained/creative people are more geared towards crochet (I know I am) and left brained/analytical people are more likely to be knitters. what about you?
Ive tryed knitting several times but I always go back to crocheting. It just seems easier and less technical to me. plus I don't read patterns at all and its easy for me to make stuff up as I go along.
45  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / some random soon to be quilt squares on: April 11, 2005 07:34:00 PM

46  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / my new/old hippie jeans! on: March 06, 2005 12:15:54 PM
I had these old jeans with a rip in the knee so I revived them with some flower embroidery! It was easier than I thought, but still time consuming. Click here for pics- (there's some close ups there too! )

47  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / tiny felties and a wolfman on: February 26, 2005 01:19:09 PM
Heres a tiny felt kitty and bunny  I made today. They are hand sewn. I was inspired by japanese craft books on ebay. they are so fun! http://www.flickr.com/photos/61547555@N00/5478397/
and here's a wolfman I made for my husband. He actually designed it and I sewed it up. He's really into werewolves!

49  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / 2 mittens, 1 scarf, 0 patterns, I rule! on: December 05, 2004 05:02:55 PM
I made this scarf and mittens for my sis in law for Christmas. Can I just say, I looove this yarn. (It is Lion brand homespun btw.) I think it's so cool how the colors blended on the scarf. Also, these are my first mittens ever (no pattern! ) They aren't perfect  but I was proud of myself just the same. Hope you like!

50  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Godzilla vs. Princess Kitty on: December 05, 2004 04:57:27 PM
How come they never made that one? (It couldn't be any worse than some they DID make) Here's some felt critters I made for my neice and nephew for Christmas.  Fun!  Grin
