51  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Re: Button / Badge / Pin Makers on: August 29, 2007 12:16:01 PM
hey there button makers, I'm sorry if this was already mentioned, I haven't looked through all 17 pages. But, has anyone used their button machine to make fabric or felt covered buttons? I want to try this but don't want to ruin the maker. I've seen them around, I'm guessing you could just leave off the clear plastic part? any ideas?
thanks!

thanks for all the comments!! I'm happy to hear some of you already have this! I'd love to know what you think after getting into it a bit.

Did you get to do any of the book design, or did you just submit the content and photography for it?  Curious, because it's a really cute book!
I wrote it all, designed and made all the projects and patterns, and did all the illustrations. They (Lark, the publisher) handled the book design and took all the photos. Smiley

Howdy Craftsters. This is Leah, the Craftster admin. I know some of y'all have been expressing concerns that this post borders on breaking the "no advertising" rule. But I think that since merwing is a long standing active member here on Craftster, it's AOK by me for her to share her big achievement here. -- Leah

(Thank you Leah!)
