My high school art teacher was totally Bob Ross' wife.  Just wanted to throw that in there.  She was awesome--long silver hair, artsy clothes, and constantly somewhere in orbit (or among the happy trees; I dunno, but she wasn't 'present,' wherever she was....)

oh my gosh! that is awesome. she sounds like a perfect match for him.  Grin
PS, I found this the other day, just had to share it.

I'm really thinking Jim Henson. As a kid I loved the Muppets and Seaseme Street and tried to do a report where I had to pretend to be him...My teacher nixed that idea saying I was a girl so I had to play a girl, despite no women being my hero. But he was a cool dude. He made something like puppets be fun and new and fresh without going down any weird creepy way. And sure they were meant for kids, but a lot of stuff was funny for grown ups. Plus if I make something for my handy-dandy nurse's pack it will remind me each time I pull out my notebook or something to be kind to my pts, but allow myself to laugh.

yep, if I did a 5th in my series, it would totally be Jim Henson. Wink

I made this guy based on my clay NOM figures I make, he is completely hand sewn from felt. My husband even has "claimed" him so I think he must be pretty cool. Wink
