here's an embroidery I did recently on colored felt. it is about 8 inches across. it feels like spring!

here's my latest embroidery art, once again, started as doodle in my sketchbook.

this is the cheapest, easiest nic nac shelf you can find. here's what you need:

a yard stick- you should be able to find one at your local hardware store for under a dollar. you can paint it if you like, I left mine in it's natural state.
ribbon
thumbtacks

cut 3 pieces of ribbon all the same length. I made mine about 9 inches long.
fold one ribbon into a circle, overlapping the ends. put the end pointing up on the inside.
put a thumbtack through both ends from the inside. stick it in the wall.
repeat with the other two ribbons, one for each end of the yard stick and one in the middle.
slide the yard stick through the ribbons. you can glue it underneath if you want.
voila! you're done. here's mine:

I haven't posted any fatkitties in awhile, so here are some of my latest, valentine kitties!  kitties <3 you!

this was more of a challenge than I thought. he came out kinda cute though. I think it would be easier if I did something bigger next time. this guy's only about 3.5 inches tall (sitting)

so I made him these KISS kitties for our anniversary! he loved them. gene simmons tongue is poseable...

How funny, I made a mouse a while back that I embroidered in a similar fashion, your bunny's distant cousin I think:

He's the Dormouse from Alice in Wonderland (taking a snooze on a teapot), perhaps your bunny is the White Rabbit? ;o)
