Hello Boston Craftsters!

I have also just recently moved here, and am in DESPERATE need of knitting/crafting buddies.
Anyone down for a in all serious Boston craftster meet up!?!?!
I live near Davis Square...so Diesel Cafe could be a good meet up place, but I'm open to suggestions, just thought I'd put an idea location out there.

Yay Boston!
Yay Crafting!

Autumn, Knitting, and Socks....three of my favorite things....these are totally rad. I think I might make some...you say they are hard to put on, is that because the top fair isle part was done very tightly?

Did this for my senior project. Mostly crocheted...the tree and various other small things are knit.

Here are some answers to above questions:

The trunk of the tree is in fact, not felted, but the TLC Amore yarn kinda makes it look like it is from afar for some reason.

I got it to stand up by using some PVC tubing that a friend had laying around his house. It is very sturdy and fairly thick and weighty enough to keep the top of the tree in its upright and locked position. The top of the tree is stuffed with mainly crumpled newspaper, surrounded by some poly-fill so it looks soft and has some shape to it.

Also interestingly enough my cat has taken little interest in the tree, maybe because there is so much other yarn laying around the house for her to attack.
