1  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / cat on a bike on: October 20, 2007 09:42:47 PM

i found this pattern at walmart for $.84 and had to buy it because my roommate from last year and i used to always joke that her cat probably did lots of things in secret when we left the house -- riding a bike was one of them.
2  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / arrghmatey's crochet hat on: October 20, 2007 09:38:34 PM

i couldn't not make one of these hats. they were way too cute. i have one in like four different colors now and whenever i wear it out, people ask me to make them one.
3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / is this fabric too...showy? on: July 22, 2007 10:13:09 PM
okay, i'm going to a wedding this august, and i don't have anything i want to wear to it. i was going through some stuff my grandmother is trying to get rid of, and i found this WONDERFUL printed sheet:
<a href="http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y116/roboterotica/print1.png">pattern</a>
<a href="http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y116/roboterotica/print2.png">pattern</a> (i can't post pictures yet, sorry... :[)

i pretty much love it. so, i was looking on urban outfitters for ideas, and these caught my eye:

the thing is, i'm not sure if maybe this fabric is a little too flashy? like, if i decide to do the first one, should i maybe break it up with a solid waistband? and if i do...what color, there's like 30 in the sheet. i'm at a total loss here. so, if you've got any suggestions whatsoever, throw them out there.
