1  CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / Modified Happy Hooker Jolly Roger on: July 03, 2007 09:47:54 AM
I turned him into a Jolly Koozie!

Once I started the koozie, I realized it was made for a giant drink so it still needs to be modified to fit an actual 12 oz can. Thanks for looking!
2  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / 50 pcs of 2 yd ribbon - what to make? on: June 27, 2007 07:17:22 PM
I needed about 1 foot of pink ribbon and there was a big bag of asst ribbon at the fabric store that was cheap and had the piece I needed. I am now the owner of a bag full of ribbon, all 2 yards each, and varying widths and colors/designs.

ideas? Thanks!
3  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Best place to buy kits? on: June 12, 2007 12:03:41 PM
There aren't any LYS so I need to go online. I'm looking for a good place to buy whole kits that uses good fabrics. Thanks in advance!

5  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / crocheted beer sweater on: May 24, 2007 11:55:13 AM
Do you happen to have a pattern for a crocheted beer sweater, beer koozie, or can cozy, whatever you call it. I found a site that has felted knitted ones
http://www.knittingatknoon.com/FScoasters.html , but I want to crotchet. It can be bottles or cans. I'm always looking for fun, different patterns.

I'm not a fan of the grandma look, KWIM? I printed off patterns last night and started making this one http://www.crochetnmore.com/cancozy.htm but half way through it just looked so froofroo and unfun. I want to make a patio set.  guess I could knit, but I've put away my knitting needles for the year in an attempt to really grasp crochet. I've been loving it and have made a lot of cool things. My sister knitted a beer sweater one time for my BIL and I've coveted it and wanted to make one for myself. I saw the felted koozies and really wanted to make some for my patio, but can't find a good pattern.
