Am I the only one that thinks your baby looks very doll-like in this photo?  Like, a doll with a nice sweater on...

I was thinking the same thing!!

Well, not that it's a surprise, but you new projects look great!!  I may have  get that book after all.  How big do the sizes go?  I agree, your sweater will continue to look good while you keep losin'.  I wish I had your stick-to-it-ness!  Keep up the good work!

6  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Discussion and Questions / Re: Curvy Girls Dress on: August 21, 2007 04:29:45 PM
I third the boob thing.  I like shirts that allow for a full coverage bra, but don't look matronly.  Another thing I've noticed is that alot of plus size clothing seems to be made of light weight, gauzy fabrics with little shape.  I need structure!!

It's hard to find nicer quality fabrics and prints.  I want my clothes to look lilke they're from the regular size departments, just proportioned to fit a bigger girl's body.

Since you asked, I wear a 16-18 tall.  I'm short waisted, large through the bust, and carry most of my weight in my belly more so than my hips.  I'm definitely an apple, not a pear!! Wink
7  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Le Slouch beret obsession on: August 18, 2007 08:14:59 PM
Yay, berets!!!  I'm also currently obsessed with them.  However, the 100+ degree temperatures don't really allow for it. Sad  Yours looks very nice on you!
