Hi ALL!  Grin I'm REALLY interested in making this Belle Star Pattern, I only have two questions to ask...Would it be possible to substitute the D.B. Cotton/Cashmere FOR DK weight cotton/acrylic yarn? Would it be a problem to work with it in this pattern?  Huh

geez....ive been done with the beanie for a couple days, but the problem is that i can't post the pic, my camera is low on batteries and i keep forgetting to buy some, arg, i hate this camera.
anyways as for the hot head project i did pretty good, i just didn't use the right yarn, i used worsted weight instead of bulky and i will probably do another "hot head" beanie with bulky next, but that will have to wait for another 2 weeks because im waiting for the shipment of yarn at my LYS.
as of right now im trying to knit a stockinette beanie, i just hope it fits right when i knit enough to check. Smiley

Hows everyone elses hot head beanie going along?
18  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Basic Stockinette Beanie? on: January 18, 2005 12:45:46 AM
Hi all! I was wondering if some of you can help me on this...I'm looking for a basic looking stockinette beanie pattern using 5.5mm knitting needles. Does anyone know a good pattern for it? i'm looking to make a beanie that will fit a 22" cir. head.
Well if i couldn't find a pattern and I was to do it myself, does anyone know if i was to use 5.5mm knitting needles, how many stitches do i need to cast on for it? Any help will be great! Thank you!  Smiley
