Details of swap:
This is my first swap as organizer, so it's an easy one and no flakers! We are doing 4 points and one item does need to be a large or medium. If you and your partner agree, feel free to do more though. Sendouts are an entire month from the close date, so you have some time to craft.

The focus on this one is cute and creepy! I am talking skeletons, zombies, vampires, monsters, bats, mummies or anything normal that you just give a creepy vibe to such as things inspired by the quirkiness of Tim Burton and the likes. You all know what I am talking about!  I mean, really, you can apply the term to anything if you use your imagination! This swap is for all those people who love creepy things but with a cuter twist to them. And please, quality items only, no one wants to feel jipped.  Wink

Participants must check in at least once a week, by posting in this thread, and regularly keep in touch with your partner either by pm or on this thread.

If your partner is within the US, you MUST get a DC and pm it to the organizer and your partner when you send. If outside the US, you need to send the organizer and your partner a copy of the mailing receipt.

Feedback will be given after you send and pictures are posted. Please try and post pictures once you recieve. If you dont have a camera, please try to make arrangements with your partner so they can take pictures before they send and post them for you when you receive.

This is a 4 point swap. One item must be medium or large.

Small Item = 1 point
Med Item = 2 Points
Large Item = 3 Points

For new swappers there might be a bit of a confusion as to what is a large, medium, and small item, so here's a handy guide:

Small = By time, 2 or less hours of crafting. By $$$, $10 or less. By size, Earrings, stickers, wallets, pouches, bookmarks

Medium = By time, 2 or more hours of crafting. By $$$, $10-$30. By size, one single necklace or bracelet, a scarf

Large = By time, 3 or more hours of crafting. By $$$, $30 or more. By size, A shawl, a shirt, a skirt, a set of jewelry with four to five items, a purse

This is not totally set in stone, but is a rough estimate of sizes described by time it takes to make package, by physical size and by cost.

If you want to participate, information to send to organizer:

10  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Steampunk Jewelry and Accessories on: June 20, 2009 09:31:28 AM
Hello All,

I have recently been trying to fashion some Steampunk style jewelry and hair accessories, but have been having issues finding the right glues for the metal and plastic. I cannot solder them because I have other medias on the pieces that will burn. Any suggestion or ideas would be greatfully appreciated. Thank you. Wink
