1  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Chibi Sarah Jane Smith on: May 25, 2011 09:33:23 AM
When I heard that Elisabeth Sladen had passed away I felt devastated. Sarah Jane Smith was my first companion and she is still my favorite. So, I decided to craft something in her honor. I think I started about a month ago and didnt manage to finish it until yesterday:

I used this pattern http://members.shaw.ca/plushie/ufoplush/ for the body. The clothes are the ones from " The hand of fear", her last serial on the classic series.
Here is a shot of the back:

And a detail of her little shoes (I love the stripped stockings, but they didn't show in the other photos)

Ah, I almost forget to say that mini K-9 and the TARDIS (that is actually bigger on the inside) were made by the amazing  ellemir and received in the Doctor Who and Spinoffs Round 5.
2  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: One Tiny Doctor Who Thing Swap Gallery on: July 19, 2010 11:12:37 AM
I received my package from Fake Palindromes last week but I wasn't at home, so I find it today.
A cute necklace with painted pendants. She said that this is her first time making jewellery, so I must say, very good job  Smiley.

A closer pic to show the detailed paintwork:

A TARDIS, A Weeping Angel (mmm, perhaps it's not a good idea taking a picture of this one Tongue) and three terrible Daleks.

And the mandatory action shot  Wink:

This is very pretty.  How did you teach yourself to do this...internet or book?

I used the tutorial at http://minisweethearts.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html for the flowers. I kinda figured myself the way to arrange them.
