11  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / crocheting with ribbon yarn? on: October 03, 2007 12:20:47 PM
I'm thinking about buying some ribbon yarn and making shawls or capelets for my wedding party, but I don't know how it will crochet up.  Anyone use this?
12  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / need reccommendations on: September 25, 2007 12:09:05 PM
does anyone want to plug their fave place to buy m&p bases, colors and FO online?  I tried the "life of the party" brand from Michaels and I really wasn't pleased with the smell, smelled like chemicals.

thanks!!
13  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / does anyone else have this problem with black yarn...? on: September 20, 2007 01:14:15 PM
I can't see the stitches in it!!  Tonight I'm going to break out my bright desk lamp and try that, but so far, everytime I start making the little black feet for my amigruimmi project, I mess it up!

I'm kinda just venting here, so sorry  Smiley
14  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Where are the eyes??? on: September 11, 2007 01:20:38 PM
In the craft store (joanns most likely), where are the eyes to use for Amigruimmi?  With the buttons?  with the sewing notions?  I looked the other day but didn't see them in either place.

Thanks!!

16  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / trinkets and such - 1st real post on: August 21, 2007 01:01:14 PM
Hi there.  I have been on here doing some swaps, but haven't really posted any of my jewelry.  So, here are a few of my recent favorites:

These were all made with a combo of vintage buttons and cabochons and lots and lots of glue.  Wink

17  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / organizing paper. Help! on: June 28, 2007 09:02:06 AM
So, I am sometimes a bit organizationally challenged.  I was going through all of my paper ephemera and bits last night for a swap, and I realized that I have all this stuff I didn't even know about.

So here's my question, how do you organize your paper so that you can easily access it, but it doesn't take up a a lot of space?  And what do you do with the tiny magazine cut outs and other little things?

Thanks in advance!
Lindsay
18  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Introduce Yourself / newbie on: June 26, 2007 10:00:16 AM
Hi everyone!  I've been lurking for a week or so, but I'm here now.  I am loving everyone's craftiness!  My current speciality is anything to do with vintage buttons (rings, bobby pins, magnets, etc.)  I have an etsy shop and make a lot of stuff for friends and family.  I love messages too.
