Thanks boatbird, I'm thinking that a zig zag organizer is kind of like an accordian organizer?  Sorry, I've just never heard that term, but that is a good idea.  I saw another post about baseball card organizer for smaller things, I may try that as well.

anyone else?

I've been filling a clear plastic envelope with everything I find...will divide it up when I get my partners and check out their profiles to see if I can put anything relevant to the things they like...so make sure your profile is updated!

Can you update those things in your profile if you're not a friend?  I can't figure it out!
317  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / organizing paper. Help! on: June 28, 2007 09:02:06 AM
So, I am sometimes a bit organizationally challenged.  I was going through all of my paper ephemera and bits last night for a swap, and I realized that I have all this stuff I didn't even know about.

So here's my question, how do you organize your paper so that you can easily access it, but it doesn't take up a a lot of space?  And what do you do with the tiny magazine cut outs and other little things?

Thanks in advance!
Lindsay

I'm kind of surprised that no one has answered you.  Most of mine have been gotten from sellers on etsy that sell ephemera grab bags.  Also ebay has them.  I also frequently visit my local thrift shops for old books, and estate sales are great for old papers as well.  Happy shopping!
