1  Re: 14 Quilt Projects in 2014 Quilt Along! in Quilting: Discussion and Questions by Sera unravled on: July 12, 2014 08:56:41 AM
I finally have pictures!

This is my stash busting quilt a.k.a. my "ugly" quilt. I started with some strips and just added pieces to it until I liked the size of it.  I tried free motion quilting on it and failed.  It looks like a thread monster threw up on it. Cheesy

My lap quilt...  I love these colors together.

My summer quilt. I was so happy to finish this quilt. I started in april 2013, and finished in june of this year.  The only reason it took so long was because I had no idea what to use for the back. after several trips to joanns I decided to use the colors used for the top and make a pieced back. I'm really happy how it turned out.

this shows some of the back and the awesome rainbow binding.

My summer quilt, I started this a year ago.  I couldn't figure out what fabric to use for the back, I actually got several yards of different fabrics but nothing seemed to work.  I found out that I had enough of the colors used on the top to make a pieced back.

picture of back and binding( i love my rainbow binding)

I have a lot more projects done but I need to take pictures, hopefully soon, I will get them posted.

Ever since I have learned how to quilt my mom has been nagging me for a table runner, so I finally broke down and made her one for mother's day. I started at noon on sat and finished at 1:30 Sunday morning. yep that's it 13 and a half hours. lol

7  mother's day table runner in Quilting: Completed Projects by Sera unravled on: July 03, 2013 12:45:40 PM
This is the first table runner I have ever made. My mom had been begging me for one, so I thought it would be nice to make one for mother's day.

bacon ranch mac and cheese

1/4 cup of butter
1/4 cup flour
2 cups milk
ranch dressing
bacos
salt and pepper
1/2 pound of elbow macaroni

Make macaroni according to directions set aside

in a big pot melt butter, whisk in flour.  Slowly whisk in milk, whisk until thick.  Add a couple of squirts of ranch dressing. add salt and pepper to taste. add bacos.  Add macaroni and enjoy.

Verdict:
Very good I make this all the time except I leave out the Bacos and add onion powder, I actually have some in the fridge right now.

Creamy tomato and Tortellini soup

http://www.plainchicken.com/2012/11/creamy-tomato-tortellini-soup.html

Verdict:
I love this soup!!! My husband doesn't like tomato soup so I get it all to myself! Smiley I make it once a week.

another quilted bag

kitty approves!! Cheesy

it's big enough for an overnight trip, or a big knitting project.
Right now I use it to carry my clipboard and radio for work.

Hopefully after I file my taxes I'll have enough money to make a real quilt.
