1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: New MagKnits! on: December 03, 2007 06:43:01 PM
Hi Everybody!  I designed Excuses.  I'm glad people like it!  Info on how to modify the pattern for different sizes or ease options was edited out of the pattern (understandably. it's pretty long), so I've put it on my blog if you're interested. I know that I can't put a link directly to my blog here but if you go to the pattern page and find the link to my blog, you can get that info.
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Bacteria! on: November 26, 2007 08:47:50 AM
These are so funny!  I instantly thought of the Giant Microbes toys.  Why are they smiling?  Are they happy that they have infested your body?   Shocked Grin So funny.  Maybe now every time someone I know gets sick I'll make them an appropriate bacteria or virus and they can punch its face (they have faces!) when they are angry at being sick.

That is a gorgeous design.  I love yellow but have never knit for myself something in that color.  Your yellow sweater is so wearable.
4  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Kimono Sweater made by my mom! on: November 07, 2007 07:30:35 AM
She did a beautiful job.  It's a lovely sweater.
5  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Modified Coachella on: October 08, 2007 08:21:04 PM
I love both and your pic of your Clapotis is a beautiful photograph, too.  I've made both of these projects, too.  I'm really impressed you could modify Coachella.  Even after making it I don't fully understand what's going on.
6  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Fitted Crocheted Jacket/top? Why Not!! on: October 08, 2007 08:18:01 PM
You always do the most wonderful crochet work.  Knitting, too, actually.  It's beautiful and very flattering.
7  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Blue Sweater with Buttons :) on: October 07, 2007 05:27:26 PM
This sweater is perfect.  The collar, the buttons, the two-tone.  Just perfect.
8  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Wire Knit Beaded Cuff Bracelet on: October 07, 2007 05:23:46 PM
I got the pattern from Twist and Loop.  Fun!  It was my first wire knit.  And amazingly, it fits just right. Shocked

9  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Why do birds (& hedwig), suddenly appear.. on: July 19, 2007 02:02:43 PM
Shocked  Those are so cute, I momentarily lost consciousness.  Upon waking, though, I did remember to post a comment telling you HOW FREAKING CUTE THEY ARE!  Okay, I'm still light-headed, I have to take a break.
10  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Rusted Root on: July 19, 2007 12:22:55 PM
i'm thinking of just sucking it up and using the recommended yarn... it'll cost the same anyway.

The recommended yarn, Cotton Fleece, is on sale at Sheep Shed Studio for cheap.  If I could justify ordering yarn at all, I would totally get some.
