1  Re: Hyperbolic crotchetalong? in Crochetalongs by bluegrey on: May 15, 2009 07:06:11 PM
Decided to make one.  Even though I still don't understand what a hyperbolic plane is I think it came out pretty cool.  I'm going to keep it on my desk so it can make everything look pretty.  Smiley

I think I'll make a scarf using the pattern another day.

2  Mother's Day Blanket in Crochet: Completed Projects by bluegrey on: May 08, 2009 10:52:32 AM
This is my first big project, and blanket (that I've finished) so I'm really happy.
Story:  I've had a lot of free time over the past week so I decided to make a blanket.  I'm going to give it to my mother for Mother's day.   She has seen me work on it, but I don't think I've given her enough evidence to believe it's actually for her.

There's 30 rows in all, using a granny square pattern.  Purple 10, white 7, black 2, blue 2, green 3, and grey 6.  I tried to use all all my left over yarn from previous projects.  Color order  was random.
(I might continue it another day, but for now I like it.)

3  Marble Vase in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by bluegrey on: May 31, 2007 05:06:46 AM
(Hopefully this goes here)

Yesterday I bought a vase an a bag of marbles, and made this:

Hopefully I can buy some flowers to put in them.  I was thinking of making a couple of different ones to give to my mother and grandmother.  And maybe get some some glass cups for candles, and do the same.

4  Duck tape wallet in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by bluegrey on: May 21, 2007 02:01:58 PM
Some pictures of my first duck tape wallet.  I used a tutorial online, but I changed some things.  I made it a little while back.  I haven't used it much because I'm afraid I might loose it, or it's get ruined.

The outside:
has some stickers, and I drew on stars and hearts with a sharpie

The Inside:
1 card holder, place for money, and place holder for card book

Hopefully I can make a smoother one next time, and get different tape colors.
