31  CRAFTING FOR GOOD AND NOT EVIL / Crafty Charitable/Social Causes / Completed magic ball granny on: September 15, 2007 04:43:19 PM
This is a magic ball granny that I have already completed.  I am still working on the one I previously posted.  These scrapghans will go to Linus.

32  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / Raggedy Ann on: September 15, 2007 04:39:18 PM
I made this Raggedy Ann doll this summer.  I used an old McCall's pattern.  I think it turned out cute.  I'm giving it to my granddaughter for her birthday.

33  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Plarn for plastic canvas on: September 15, 2007 04:35:39 PM
This is a box I made using "plarn" on plastic canvas.  I still have to sew on a button and make a button loop, to close the box.  You can also make a box with a separate lid.

34  CRAFTING FOR GOOD AND NOT EVIL / Crafty Charitable/Social Causes / My Magic Ball Granny on: September 06, 2007 01:25:31 PM
Here is a WIP of my magic ball rectangular granny I am making for the Lunus Organization.

35  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Stretchy Glove Doll on: September 06, 2007 01:20:34 PM
I saw this project on Carol Duvall a while back.  It is a doll made with those inexpensive one-size-fits-all stretchy gloves.  I have a finished doll and one in the process....

36  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / BUNNIES on: September 06, 2007 01:12:12 PM
Here are some bunnies my daughter and I made.  My daughter knit them and I assembled, stuffed and embroidered them.  The 2 big ones are "Peter Rabbit"  and the tiny bunny, I think I found somewhere on this Craftster site. The small pink one is from "Artsy Fartsy Mama".

37  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Plastic Grocery Bag Totes on: September 06, 2007 12:58:55 PM
Here are pictures of 2 plastic bag totes I crocheted out of plastic bags. The tan one has a zipper and is purse sized.  It looks like a summer straw bag.  The white one has a loop and button closure.  They are both lined with muslin.  I designed them myself.

38  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / STUFF FOR BOYS on: August 09, 2007 01:42:52 PM
I have sewn some dolls for my granddaughter (now 7) and have some crocheted patterns that I will eventially make.  The problem is I have a grandson (going on 5) and I really can't find boys stuff to sew or crochet.  I do have a pattern for a stuffed football, but I would like to make him a car, or truck.  Does anyone know of a link for free soft sculpture trucks, cars etc., sewn or crocheted?
39  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Suggest New Boards and New Features / A Plastic Canvas sub-category? on: July 21, 2007 08:27:20 AM
There are very posts in the needlework section, which consists mostly of some form of embroidery. I don't even think that needlepointers post here.  I think this is because people just don't realize that Plastic canvas is part of your needlework heading.  I know there are plenty people doing plastic canvas these days.  If you check out the pattern sites, there are so many relating to this topic.  If there was a seperate section for plastic canvas and needlepoint, you would get many more posts on these subjects.
