1  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / STOCKING FACES on: June 22, 2014 11:30:20 AM
I recently acquired a bag of stocking faces.  There are over a dozen in assorted sizes; they remind me of a bunch of mushrooms.  I'm looking for ideas of what I could craft wtih them.
2  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / STOCKING HEADS on: May 31, 2014 10:11:41 AM
I was given a bunch of stocking heads.  I'd like to use them is crafts.  I was thinking of perhaps making some sort of ornaments with them such as elves etc.  Does anyone have any ideas (or patterns where I can substitute the stocking heads) to make ornaments?

5  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / Where can I find pattern & Directions for a napkin holder on: April 06, 2013 10:22:25 AM
I saw a napkin holder that is like a basket.  It is a square of plastic canvas and 4 narrow strips on all sides, covered with fabric.  The excess fabric on the corners are pinched together and tied with a little ribbon bow.  I think I've also seen this as a larger basket that can be used as a bread basket.

Does anyone know where I can get free frog patterns?  All I seem to find are beanbag style frogs.

8  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / ISO owl granny potholder on: April 16, 2011 11:58:51 AM
I saw a picture of a potholder made from 2 granny squares. the top granny looks like it is folded in 1/2 and the bottom has the points facing side to sdide and top to bottom.  It has 2 circles on either side under the top part to resemble eyes.  Would anyone have the pattern or the link to the pattern for this?

10  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / Looking for sewn or crocheted sports figure dolls patterns on: September 26, 2010 11:36:11 AM
I've been searching the web for sewing or crocheted patterns for stuffed sports dolls IE; a baseball player, football player, soccer player, hockey player or basketball player and haven't really come up with anything.  I do have a crochet pattern for a 21" football doll.  I really don't want anything this big, I also have one for a baseball player.  This pattern doesn't give the size but it looks smaller and I will probably make this one.  I can't seem to find anything to make for my grandson who will be 8 shortly.  My daughter said I could make him some sports figures.
Each year I have been sewing a doll for my granddaughter who is 10 now.  She has a collection of them on a shelf in her room and I would like to start a sports collection for my grandson.  I also have  a pattern for a crocheted glove, ball and bat.
