Where did you find all those charms?

Thanks a lot ladies.  I might do something using a combination of these links.  I will make the center like the fabric bud, and make fabric petals like the felt ones and layer it around the bud.  I'll see if this work out.  I wasn'r able to access the last link "lola".  I will try later.

I just saw a picture on a foreign site for crochet tulips.  I would like to make a fabric tulip similar to this:

Yes, this is the one I found.  I was hoping to find something that had some sort of petals that would wrap around each other.

Unfortunately, I don't have a picture.  I would like to make a few 3D tulips to put of a spring wreath. n

I would like to make some fabric tulips.  I've searched the web and found only 1 pattern.  Perhaps some of you sewists can tell me if there are any site/blogs out there that would have a pattern to sew tulips.  I prefer a free pattern.

Pinterest has tons of sewing patterns. and a lot are free.  However you can't keep track of anything there.
8  Craft Swaps / ACTIVE SWAPS WHERE SIGN-UP PERIOD HAS CLOSED / Re: Fill a "Coffee" Mug Swap (SU by 1/09/15, SO by 1/31/15) on: December 28, 2014 08:27:30 AM
You forgot to include the more obvious...old-fashioned tea balls to hold loose tea, individual tea bags, cocoa, small bags of coffee.  My daughter makes her own coffee bags that are used like tea bags putting a scoop of coffee into a coffee filter and dental floss to tie up the bags.  She found the idea on line. The idea is to fill a mug.  I don't see how you can necessarily give it a real point value.  You could also make a bottlecap pincushion. A mug rug is actually a coaster.  You could make a set of 4.  They could be the same or all different.  That could be the hand made item. You could also make a felt or fabric needlebook with an embroidered mug on it.  It might prove prove challenging to make things small enough to fit into a mug.

Sounds good to me, Sharalee. I could certainly make a mug rug.

Sharalee, you're too generous with your praise.  I'm ok with the doll and probably even the clothing.  It's doing a portrait with pastels that throws me off.  I would like to skip that part altogether.
