1  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / ______ in a jar? on: November 16, 2008 04:34:29 PM
So I thought it might be fun to make some of my good friends some premade mixes because they fail pretty badly at cooking and I'm pretty sure they could handle something that already had most of the ingredients included. Does anyone have any good suggestions for what I should put in the jar?
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / What to do with 1.5 yards of spongey stretchy blue fabric? on: July 03, 2007 08:18:19 AM
I bought some really pretty blue fabric, 1.5 yards to be exact, but I don't know what to make with it. I want to make a dress, but I'm not sure it is enough...
3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Lining Material... Help please on: June 24, 2007 03:50:54 AM
I'm planning to make a tote that I can carry binders, folders, and notebooks in to school in the fall. I have the outside fabric picked out and everything and I have all the materials ready except for the lining material. I want it to be strong and durable but at the same time not too heavy. I have absolutely no idea what to use.. Any ideas??
4  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / My first clay projects since playdoh on: June 23, 2007 12:29:56 PM
I was inspired by this site and I bought a big box of sculpey. This is what I've made so far. What do you think? Don't be too harsh I'm just starting and I'm sixteen.

Does anyone have any suggestions to make the holes for the jump rings? Because I made them with a needle and put the jump rings through when the clay was uncooked, and I slightly deformed them near the holes.
5  CLOTHING / Costumes: Discussion and Questions / Jasmine Costume on: June 02, 2007 04:44:57 PM
I'm a beginner sewer, and I really want to make my own halloween costume this year. I am planning to be Jasmine, but I know my parents aren't let me out with a top that small. Instead I was thinking that I would make the whole costume out of two layers, something silky for the bottom, and something semi-see-through for the top layer, and extend the see-through top layer on her blouse thing to cover most of my stomach. But I was wondering if anyone had any better ideas to cover my stomach, but still keep the Jasminess of the outfit.
And here's a pic if you don't remember what Jasmine's outfit looks like.
6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Jasmine Jewelry Big Pic on: June 02, 2007 04:08:49 PM
I wanna be jasmine for halloween, and I know its a little early, but I want to have enough time to finish my costume over the summer. I really want to make jewelry that goes with the costume too, but I'm not exactly sure how. Any suggestions?

I think I can do the hairband thingy, but I'm not too sure about the earrings and the necklace.
