I picked up at book at the local library called "Traditional Japanese Design Motifs" by Joseph D'Addetta  I found these cute little birds in it and had to embroider them.  I backed it on black and now I am trying to think of something to put it on.  Any suggestions would be welcome

I figured out I can make 3 headbands from one bandana. 



1 child size and 2 adult.  I need to work a bit on the joins where the elastic part attaches to the top but over all I think they turned out well. I gave one to my friends granddaughter to road test.  I still need to sew up one more to have all three done.

The girls wanted the skulls in black so I was happy to oblige.

My DD age 19 loves Totoro.

So here is her little stuffed felt Totoro keychain

I made another...I think I am getting better.  The first one seemed a little puny.  The second one I clipped into the seam and it made it smoother.  The Third one I clipped in to the seam and stuffed it REALLY FULL!  HERE IS THAT RESULT!!!!  This one is a keeper.
