1  mittens! Green cabled and a fingerless/thumb-less. (Pictures should work, now!) in Knitting: Completed Projects by molly_bo_bolly on: February 15, 2008 06:50:09 AM
I see the pics aren't workin.  Huh Another try...

The green cables are for me.
I used Vanna White's yarn for the first time, and it's awesome to work with.

The brown fingerless/thumb-less are for my brother.  He specifically asked for the thumb-less part.
The yarn is a finer wool blend.  I used size 3 DPNs.

2  First sewn dress. Brown & flowery. (A bit IMG fat) in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by molly_bo_bolly on: February 14, 2008 04:44:39 PM
I've always knitted and recently my mumma taught me to read a sewing pattern.  (I think 27 is just the right age to learn, don't you?) Smiley
This is my first little dress.
The cotton fabric is a bit stiff for such a little dress (size is 2T), but it's made from remnants my gramma gave me from a stash she's had since I was little.
So, it's sentimental, too.

Sorry the images are big... I haven't resized any of my pics in a while!

3  Scary Dolly *IMG heavy* in Knitting: Completed Projects by molly_bo_bolly on: May 28, 2007 03:08:09 PM
I used the colors I had to make this crazy dolly.  So she's ghastly white.  My 23-year-old brother says "she's awesome and scary!" and "I totally want one!"

here's my sweet niece holding her...

4  Bubby from Knitty! in Knitting: Completed Projects by molly_bo_bolly on: May 27, 2007 12:08:04 AM
Bubby...

The tiny sweater was fun to make.  It's nice to get something completed in one short sitting for once!

(One leg is a little longer than the other which I think gives him character)  Wink

This is the original (in case you wanted the pattern)...

5  Cabled Baby sweater and hat **first post** in Knitting: Completed Projects by molly_bo_bolly on: May 18, 2007 04:20:24 PM
I don't know what took me soooo long!  I have drooled all over my keyboard for ages browsing all the talent in here.  It is an absolute honor to finally join!!!

I love cables, even though they take me forever.  So, in tribute, I made a completely cabled set...

No buttons, yet.  I haven't been able to decide what would be the cutest.
