3  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / Re: Cause every (future) senator needs a kick-ass shirt! on: September 18, 2007 08:05:36 AM
How about:
Tyler for 36
or
Bringing Some Fresh Air to the Swamp
(from FL, don't know if all of LA is swampy)

I was just reading your brother's Facebook thingie, if he is serious about this - then a little self promotion is the best place to start, you're gonna make tee-shirts, but the possiblities are endless.  And what better place to start but craftster, you've got tons and tons of talented people ready to support a good cause (person)

if just your post here about tee-shirts can get a guy from DC and a couple of girls from FL interested, think of the possiblities  Smiley

7  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Tag Blanket for Chase (mini tut) on: August 26, 2007 07:25:40 AM
their for babies, it's somthing soft for them to cuddle and hold, and the tags give them a little more stimulation than just a blankie - normally you use different ribbons all over, but Chase was born into a soccer loving family, so the ribbon choices were limited   Wink

(cut two)

cut about 5 inches of ribbon, I used about pieces 20 total

pin ribbon to square

sandwich the ribbon between the fabric squares, sew it up, turn it out, top stitch about the border - BOOM you're done
