1  Uglies - Six done! in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by Annie22 on: July 14, 2008 07:42:21 PM
Six done!  2 more to go. =)

Inspired by this Instructables post, I started 8 of these. These are the completed 3. 2 need stuffing yet, and the other 3 just need mouths.

I love ugly dolls, but frankly I can't afford to spend $20 a piece on them.  The materials to make 8 cost about the same as one ugly doll.

Cool idea!  I like your doodles. They're very fluid and connect well.

Here's some doodling I did about a year ago while playing an online game.

3  Dr. Waddle The Penguin in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by Annie22 on: July 19, 2007 10:36:47 PM
This is a crocheted penguin I made for someone very special. Wink

I've been struggling with how to form the white part on his head for months now. Finally, after looking at a basic heart pattern my brain went "DUH!" and Dr. Waddle was born.

His eyes are made of tiny buttons, he's stuffed with black fleece.
He's not perfect, but I'm happy with the results.  Cheesy

4  A frog for a friend. in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by Annie22 on: May 18, 2007 12:34:20 AM
Hello fellow crocheters!  I found this forum a week ago and instantly fell in love.  Tonight I spent a couple hours browsing craft projects and I must say, I am impressed.  This seems to be a wonderful place for ideas and projects to flourish.

I thought I would share a frog I made a few weeks ago for a friend of mine.  I knocked over a can of Sierra Mist at her house on accident and felt horrible for it. She likes frogs so I decided to make her one as an apology gift.

Thanks for looking!
