1  Re: Octopode Pandemonium! (Now with Tutorial!) in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by meghiliz on: February 24, 2008 09:04:48 AM
I printed this pattern out forever ago and finally got around to making one!  Thanks so much for the pattern!  Meet Sally:

2  Some Origami Flowers and a Ribbon Bird in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by meghiliz on: February 23, 2008 07:37:21 PM
I'm usually useless at this sort of thing, so I was really very proud of managing to make these.  One of my friends taught me how very late at night last week.  Regardless, here's my flowers and bird decorating the top of my fishtank:

The awesome bird made out of a piece of ribbon (that took me a lot longer than it took my friend!):

A few flowers:

These aren't at all impressive compared to some of the stuff in here, but, you know, I was proud of them.  And I think they're fun if nothing else.  =D

Thanks for looking!

3  Two Blankets and a (Defective) Hat in Crochet: Completed Projects by meghiliz on: February 23, 2008 07:30:48 PM
That sounds like the title of a novel.  Or maybe that's just me.  =)

I realized that I spend ridiculous amounts of time looking at other people's stuff on craftster, but *gasp* have never posted any of my own.  So I rustled up all the crafted items lurking in my dorm room and took pictures of them.

A baby blanket, that was intended for a pregnant friend, but she miscarried.  I'll probably donate it to Project Linus.

Close up:

Another blanket, probably for charity.  There are actually about ten blankets I made in between these two, its really an unhealthy addiction.  I just finished this tonight and now I've already started another one.  o.O

All folded (its really much more purple, these pictures look too blue-ish):

And my first attempt at a hat, in which I completely forgot one of the first rounds of increases, resulting in a significantly smaller product.  Fortunately, the next one came out normal sized and this one keeps Grumpy's ears warm.

Modeled by Grumpy Bear, obviously.  I couldn't seem to coax a smile for the camera.  Wink

Thanks for looking.  =D
