41  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: My real 1st project- scarf for my daughter on: March 14, 2010 12:53:49 PM
Nice job!
I love the color and the pattern.
I've been knitting for awhile and find that most patterns require a little tweaking. Some on purpose and some by accident.
When you feel confident enough be sure to try out some nice bamboo needles with a great natural fiber yarn... it's so worth the expense.
That being said, acrylic has some of the best colors and you don't have to skip paying the rent just to make something.
42  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Some things: mitts, cases, jewelry on: March 14, 2010 12:47:41 PM
It looks like you're an expert already.
I love the Little Blue Monster, especially the tongue.
43  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / Re: Windchime / Wall Art Piece on: March 14, 2010 12:44:10 PM
This is so pretty and colorful.
I like the way you fused the wire into the glass. It solves the problem of how to attach the glass to anything else.
It would look beautiful in a window.
44  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: The Hero of Canton... the man they call Jayne! on: March 12, 2010 09:00:06 PM
I love this!
Jayne and his little hat are adorable.
I'm reminded that I still have to make that Jayne hat too.
45  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Weekend Scarf (Pattern included) on: February 03, 2010 12:39:34 PM
This is the same pattern I saw at the ritzy LYS a few days ago.
I usually get my yarn from Joann's, but I wanted something really special for a gift. I ended up spending $17.00 for a tiny, little ball of yarn. I almost started hyperventilating while I paid for it, so it better come out amazing.

Your scarf is beautiful! I appreciate seeing the before and after blocking pictures. Without those I may have gotten really nervous if it was knitting up all squishy. Thanks!
46  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Mana Potion on: February 03, 2010 12:09:48 PM
This is really cute, I know a lot of people who are gonna want one.
47  COOKING / Dessert / Re: my daughter's 20th bday cookies (image heavy) on: February 03, 2010 12:07:02 PM
Your cookies are so pretty. I can't believe you made your own fondant, is it difficult?
These are a great alternative to a big cake and probably a lot less messy if you need to transport them.
48  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Dinosaurs and animals drinking tea and practicing good dental hygiene! on: February 03, 2010 12:00:30 PM
All your characters are so cute, but I love the Fireflies.
What a simple and great idea to paint on wood boards. I though they were way smaller until I saw the picture next to a window.
49  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Vibrant Skinny Scarf on: February 03, 2010 11:56:22 AM
It looks great, I love the colors.

What stitch pattern did you use?
50  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Re: First 3 Batches on: February 03, 2010 11:54:39 AM
I don't know a thing about soap making so your post was like reading a foreign language. lol
But they look great and sound luscious!
