I am doing the "we call them pirates" hat for my sweetie.

i think it is sweet and shouldnt be too hard, yet oddly satisfying.
So excited to begin...
Which is when exactly?
I need to swatch!

2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Koko Kimono and a little fun chapeau! on: January 20, 2006 06:57:06 AM
I thought about doing an adult size of it too! But I think some adjustments would need to be made for boobies...And use a bigger needle size...
Thank you for all the nice compliments...I will post fotos of the little guy in it once he decides to introduce himself...I want to make more for him, but it is frustrating to know that he will grow out of the sweater so soon.

sweet job! nice fabric!
i am with you on the cotton batting and the hard work!
i am almost done with my hawaiian style hummajang queen sized quilt.
this style reminds me of the "quilts" my Auntie Mary made. not really quilts, cause when you live in Hawaii, it isnt that how, but you know what i mean...
anyway,
sweet work for lucky friend
6  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: Nina's Baby Blanket on: August 19, 2005 12:10:35 PM
thank you everyone for the lovely feedback..
i hope to get a picture of Nina on the blanket...
steal away! it is a jordy bag from the forums, although i think next time i will do it with oilcloth on the inside, so it can be a diaper-ish bag also...and add some dividers and maybe a flap to hold everything in...but mainly i made the bag to transport the blanket in...useful wrapping... Wink
i will try and enlarge the fotos, but i am not a photoshop genius, so i have to wait for the BF to come and show me how...
mahalo again for the lovely comments!! Roll Eyes

9  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Nina's Baby Blanket on: August 10, 2005 11:36:21 AM
Made a baby blanket/quilt thing for my sisters baby. Then I had to make a bag to go along with it...
It has tattoo flash, cake patterns, denim, pink fabric, pink lined leftovers, good luck Japaneses kitties, and some batting...
My first attempt...about 2 1/2 feet by 4 feet. After I finished this, I finally finished my bed quilt...I still have to finish the "quilting" on that one, so when it is done I will post.
These require not a lot of talent, but I am so happy I finished it, I had to post...
sorry about my big belly..
