50. Baby jacket

i mailed my cousin her baby gifts last month. but the baby shower is this month and i didn't want to show up empty handed so i made this
yarn- sugar and cream or peaches and cream, white, ocean, and robins egg blue
hook - g, and f
pattern- Springy Jacket by Kj Hay from crochet today

51. Bad weather mobile

Yarn- Caron simply soft, Caron wintuk, some random yarn
hook size h
pattern- Happy Day Mobile by Amy Gaines from crochet today

so i guess you know he killed the mobile. ripped all the rain drops off. one ended up in the littler box, i don't know why they love putting things in there. other two hiding around the  house. so i gave the sun to Toby to put in his car, the raindrop roll around to much to stay in there. and the crochet stretches to much for this to be a long lasting mobile for a baby i think. or it could just be my skills.

656  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / hoodies, socks and bear on: May 07, 2011 07:26:34 AM

the pattern is corona, i used cascade 220. This hoodie took me about a month to make. I think i worked on it five days a week for about an hour to four hours a day. Its a very nice pattern and kinda easy. I'm not a fan of reading a pattern for every round. my cables never look how they look in the pictures so i'm sure that its all me messing up somehow. and i still don't understand that darn sewn bind off.
but i like it

pattern can be found in knitting today! magazine . i just used what ever yarn i had around. i think some is caron wintuk, and other yarn i've had given to me.

I really liked the bear up until i got to the feet and i just did not know how to make those darn things. but i just sewn the shoe to the feet so its not issue. I also didn't like the dress in the magazine so i crochet a skirt and knit a matching beret. I mailed it off to my mom for mothers day and she really liked it.
I'm thinking about making a few more of these

pattern basic ribbed socks, yarn knit one crochet two tye dye socks.

I made these as a thank you gift . for a friend who got out of bed at 11pm to take me home 15 miles way. and wouldn't take gas money. these took about four days to knit
