372  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / A... uhm... vase with flowers on: August 27, 2007 12:30:25 PM
Well I really don't know if it's the right place to post it, but I found myself with some flowers and an old vase that we had in the kitchen to contain spaghetti, that my mother wanted to throw away (sorry for my poor english  Tongue). Here's the result:

Thank you for looking!

LOL yes, it's a 1 Euro coin. Approximately 2 cm diameter, but I really prefer "terrible cute size", Penlowe!!!

How many beautiful pincushions!!! Here is mine, made from pieces of old sheets. It's pretty plain but I still love it as it's my second attempt ever at sewing  Cheesy

377  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Entrelac on: August 27, 2007 09:51:53 AM
I bought my first knitting needles a week ago, and I'm already in love with knitting! I'm following the Yarnpath tutorial to try entrelac and up to now it's working perfectly, and I think is very beautiful- but since I'd like to do a scarf and I am at the beginning I haven't reached yet the finishing triangles. I'm also using Lion brand instructions as at every new row I almost always forget what "p2tog" or "kfb" mean  Tongue But eventually I will learn, I hope!  Grin
