TADAAAAAAAA here is my wine bag! I really like it!!!  Grin
I took the idea from here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=189114.0;all
Sewing and stenciling took me one whole day Shocked hope to become faster with experience!

Here are the stencils... The "s" totally bled so I had to delete it (while the paint was still fresh) and redo it by hand!  Sad

365  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Duct tape rose hairpin on: August 28, 2007 10:02:15 AM
The other day I was wearing a red dress and I wanted something red for my hair. So I took some red tape, an old green hairpin (a bit scraped...) and gave a look at this tutorial: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=162792.0

Here is what I came up with  Grin

Thanks for looking!

367  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: First attempt at jewelry making on: August 28, 2007 09:13:15 AM
For the blue stone (it's actually a piece of glass  Smiley ) I used a 0.5 mm diameter garden wire: I know it will eventually oxidize, but it was just an experiment!
For the green stone I used a 1.5 mm zinc coated wire. Don't really know how it is going to behave in time  Tongue
I'm looking for silver wire but I only have some veeery thin silver wires, while I'd like to use a thicker one (1.5 mm would be perfect). Can't find it  Sad
Thanks again for the comments!
368  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Re: My handmade veils (warning: image heavy!) on: August 28, 2007 08:48:32 AM
Oooooh Alli_Lucy they are so beautiful!!! All of them!

You have a GREAT talent!! I especially like the Mantilla veil and the Cathedral length veil: they are gorgeous! I'd love instructions for them  Grin

Thank you for your comments!

Tofurocks: the guitar picks are identical, in the photo you can see the front and the back images... but I do like the side with the ideogram the most, too!

Hadassah: for the green pendant I had to use a pair of electrician pincers (don't know if it's the right translation...) because the wire was too heavy, and they worked perfectly!
370  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Some drawings (pic heavy!!!) - scroll down for the finished Indian men drawing! on: August 27, 2007 01:46:15 PM
Here are some drawings of mine. They are quite old - I haven't drawn much recently  Sad

I drew it while writing my thesis - it was some sort of safety valve  Grin
