i'm a little tardy but i wanted to submit, at least on craftster, what i came up with for challenge #1. i gave myself a $25 budget and i shopped at my local long's drugstore. my supplies were shelf liner, an ironing board cover, stretchy headbands, and a bbq tent...(i still don't know what the proper usage for this item would be, do you really 'tent' your bbq with a piece of highly flammable mesh and lace?!?!) anyhow! let me know if you have any questions about what i came up with. thanks for looking!

excellent reworking of those materials! i'm working on that challenge myself right now and hope to finish tonight before the show so i can post it (i got down to the wire this time but i had some budgetary issues  Undecided). i'm so glad someone else is doing this, i should have known there would be a craftster thread just for PR challenges!

xphronvistle - i was born and raised in CR, i live in california now but i have been nervously watching all week as the flood waters rise. my grandma was evacuated and my brother is currently sandbagging downtown...my thoughts and prayers are with everybody out there. stay safe!
