this has absolutely been my favorite swap - hurray for awesome partners, and great organizers!

wow guys - i think this is my favorite swap i've ever done, so many lovely crafts and i totally agree on the craftsmanship, it's really impressive.

weet - i noticed that we both used the same stamp too!

thank you all for your kind words about the art quilt, you made my day Smiley

hi all - taloola received from me so i am posting the goods i sent.

mini art quilt - measurements are probably about 8"x6"

back of the quilt

i also made 3 lavender filled sachets with some of the same fabric, but this is a close up of the fabric print i made using a stamp, ink, and heavy cotton

i also made 2 large marble magnets using vintage bird ephemera and i enclosed some non-handmade goodies - a tin bird and some bird loteria cards. unfortunately i didn't get a shot of any of that, hopefully taloola can post later...

i had such a great time with this swap, it really inspired me and i am proud to say i didn't buy anything - everything i made was stuff i already had in my stash, including the packing materials and the box Smiley

so cute, and what a great idea to make a birthday dress!

also wanted to say i had a little bit of the same vintage fabric, but in primary colors...i only had one small piece though, what a find to have enough to make your dress!

i am mellyp, the recipient of this lovely bag! it's the perfect size, and i'm in love with the color and pattern combo...one of my favorite parts is the frayed edge on the pocket, just the type of detail i love. it's going to rehearsal with me tonight! thanks again for such a thoughtful gift, it's so ME!

i have seen both of these in person and they are really awesome - the colors and the size especially! i never would have thought to attempt such a big project but annette doesn't shy away from any craft!

that's pretty much the perfect summer skirt! did you use a pattern or 'muddle through' on that as well? great work, looks awesome.
