Isabel's Sha Sha Dream Bag
on: August 06, 2007 02:49:20 PM
I made this bag for my niece's birthday present. I finished it only about an hour before her party or I could have convinced myself I needed to keep it! The fabric was formerly a child's dress that I rescued from a garage sale.
Thanks to Buglake for the tutorial!
Needlework: Completed Projects

I was inspired to try embroidery on felt after seeing sewwabisabi's angel onesie
The felt was really easy to stitch on. I used a rubber stamp on the felt as an experiment. It worked really well. If you're interested, you can see the stamp here:

Stamped gift wrap
on: August 06, 2007 02:20:44 PM
I want to share some gift wrap I made this past weekend. It is made out of a grocery bag and rubber stamps.
I have now wrapped several gifts like this in paper with the recipient's name. People love the personalization. And it's cheap!

Vintage button bracelet
on: July 09, 2007 12:10:27 PM
I thought you might like to see a bracelet my grandma made a long long time ago. The band is crocheted with vintage buttons attached to it.
Does anyone know how to make a crocheted band like that? This one is stretchy (and scratchy).

Clay beaded bracelet
on: July 09, 2007 11:47:56 AM
My son and I made beads out of polymer clay and Pearl Ex powder. We strung them into a bracelet for his preschool teacher Miss A.

Baby pants into headband
on: July 09, 2007 11:28:57 AM
So I found these adorable pants at a garage sale
But they were way too small for me. I turned them into a headband.
It was an easy project. I'm so excited to have a headband that fits just right!
