Start with the story first and then move on to the angelic section yeah?
Description: This is a drawing of a girl that is over-weight, and much like the rest of the world... she is affected by the media (magazines,T.V., etc..). She's looking at herself in the mirror, and as many young girls do, she's imagining herself as a skinny, beautiful girl. It seems to her that everything and evryone around her is beautiful... but not her, the truth however, is- she IS beautiful- as are many of us that fail to see that about ourselves. So next time when you look at yourself in the mirror, see yourself as beautiful and not a reflection of the imagination.
(I made a few changes, hope you can see it better)
Ha! I was trying to talk myself out of it, but of course I read this challenge when it was first posted... kept on sayin' no... waited waited and waited, and here it is... the day before the last day and I decided to do it anyway. >.<
The title suits me very well- considering the circumstances... and that's how I roll... last minute everything, not to mention the stuff I used to complete it- which are as follows:
-Left over sticks from a Father's Day project -Numerous Paper Clips -Left over magnetic strip (I have NO clue where it came from) to form the base -A silver beaded chain -Safety pins (oh yes... the thing I am well known for in my family- my mother (on several occassions) calls me "The Safety Pin Queen") -Black fishnets -3D paper stars/ Legal paper -Blue X-Mas ribbon (for the bow) -Aluminum (that's what Mr.Skully is made from) -A Black sharpie for Mr.Skully's face
I don't know if you can REALLY see the detail... but the safety pins and skull of course form a skull and crossbones, the bottom safety pins are in a zig-zag design at the base, and the bigger safety pins aren't closed, so it forms a more spread out "crownish" look.
Hope y'all like it... I know I've seen some I absolutely adore.
