This is sooo cute!  Can you share the pattern? I'm also wondering if the neck part of the headband can have some sort of elastic...ya know? I LOVE IT!

Cool! Thanks for this.

I just made another pair...well, one of the pair...and wanted to post pics. I used regular ole Red Heart acrylic worsted, and while I like the stiffness of the slipper better, it wasn't as fun to work with (as the boucle from my earlier pair). Anyway...this time I added a "buckle".

QUESTION: can anyone tell me what order they do the sc for the top edge? do you do the foot part first and then the strap separate, or do you attach the strap first and then do the sc around the top edge?

Good idea using Homespun! I have a lot of that b/c I love it for scarves (will post those one day).  Thanks for the patterns, Lydia!  I was picturing last night how I could make an ankle bootie that would flare a bit at the top, but then I thought it would be a bit "advanced" to figure out how to round the heel.

I used this pattern for my first sweater, and it turned out fine.  It's actually pretty easy, although it does introduce a few more "advanced' techniques.  I appreciated the learning though.  I'm sure you could do it!

Thanks for the support, I think I'll try it soon!

Oh cool, thanks ijsblokje! Maybe one day I'll be brave enough (and experienced enough) to attempt it!

Beautiful sweater, and the color looks great with your dark hair. I want to knit this but (a) I'm a beginner and (b) I don't wear low cut tops and in the pic on Stitch Diva, it looks so low cut. Do you think there is a way to modify the deep V neckline without altering the way the sweater lays?  Anyway, great job!

SO CUTE! I just posted pics of mine, but I like what you did with the eyelet on the ruffle.  Nice job!
