SO CUTE shae16! Thanks for posting pics of yours. The straps for mine (the yellow one I originally posted) were too long for my niece too, but since I had completely bound off and crocheted the straps separately, I'm going to just undo and redo them...fun. :-)

I'm slow-going knitting the second ruffle tank for my friend's daughter, but I love the color...a real deep pink, Bernat Cotton Tots "strawberry". I'm knitting on circs for the first time and HOLY EASIER! NO SEAMING and just round and round and round...boring but easy.  I will post pics of that when I'm done, but for now here's one of my niece wearing hers:

SO cute! Love the pink camo.  I haven't even thought about trying socks yet, but these are so cute I might have to consider it. Good job!

You can do it woohag!!! I waited forever to try them, and was pleasantly suprised at how simple they are, go for it!!!

Thanks shae16 for the vote of support! Is it true that you don't need an actual cable needle? Again, my mentor says you can just use a paper clip opened up or something....as long as the stitches won't fall off.

I start the sc first before adding the strap and then I just start from the heel.

So you don't do the sc edging on the strap then, right? I think that's why I was confused about the 'pattern' to do the edging all around...I was thinking it was 'all around, including the strap'.

Wow, really nice set! I'm a relatively novice knitter and I haven't attempted cables yet, though my mentor swears they are super easy and impress like mad, just as you say here. Smiley
