1611  KNITTING / Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller / Re: Stitch 'n Bitch Page-a-Day Calendar!!!! on: May 10, 2007 05:24:28 PM
I got bored about a week ago and read all the way into June somewhere. That is where I found the page that had craftster on it, and then I got on here. I am loving both the calendar and craftster.
1612  CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / Re: 18 Shells! OMGWTF on: May 10, 2007 05:20:26 PM
I am working on it right now. I frogged mine twice too. I have 19 shells instead of 20. I just figure that I will work it out somehow in the end. At least 18 is better than 19 because you are still with an even number. After ripping it out twice, I just decided to go with it anyway and see what comes out of it.
1613  CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / Re: Sweet Pea Shawl in green on: May 10, 2007 05:17:12 PM
I really like the green. I am working on one right now in a wine color. I also agree that it hides mistakes well. I can't wait to finish mine. I'm getting to the shorter rows, so it should start working up faster! I hope anyway, this will only be the second thing I have ever finished in crochet.
1614  CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / Re: Happy Hooker floral scarves on: May 10, 2007 05:14:24 PM
I really like the lavender one! It looks wonderful.
1615  CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / Re: Another Garden Scarf - YAY! on: May 10, 2007 05:13:35 PM
I love it! I made one too. The colors you picked are great!
1616  CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / Re: Orange you glad... that I love blueberries on: May 10, 2007 05:00:28 PM
I really do like the modification you made. I have been staring at that pattern for weeks trying to decide if I really wanted an orange on a purse or not. Now I see how any round fruit would work.... I am already imagining apple, grapefruit, kiwi, grapes.......... Thanks!
1617  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Introduce Yourself / Hello from Indianapolis! on: May 10, 2007 04:46:08 PM
Hi! I have been surfing the forum for a while, but just recently became a member. My name is Martha and I run a small zine in Indianapolis called Sunday Afternoon Housewife. I publish crafty stuff, original recipes, band interviews, book reviews, ect.

I also am a very busy crafter. My favorite is knitting, followed by crochet, sewing, t-shirt altering, and other acts of randomness.

I look forward to all of the inspiration seeping from these forums and can't wait to put up some pictures of things I have made and get feedback.

Thanks for the great site and great crafting community!
