I *think* there was a mini swap last year for the halloween too, and there are of course several other halloween swaps. This swap will NOT be a mini-swap though. This will be 91 total items! International worked just fine last time, this will be international again, as it seems that there are enough people spread about and ready to invest time and money that it won't be a problem.  sign ups to begin soon. Don't hesitate to ask anymore questions before they start!

I looked back and last year we had participants in US and Canada and the UK. My only concern is that someone might not be willing to send as far as Australia due to cost and the fact that items might not arrive on time...

I don't have problem with items being sent as they are finished, and that would be more manageable money wise for some, there just has to be good communication with organizer and partner.

Maybe it would be good to know how many non-US folks want to particpate. All I have noticed is that more and more people are less willing to send out of country and cost is really big for this swap.

I'm pretty sure I spent near $50 just on shipping last year as an indicator.

Everyone's thoughts?

Well, with sign ups starting in June, we will have approximately 3 1/2 months before the first send outdate, so that is a darn good amount of time to get some stuff crafted. I am so glad all are excited and again, looking forward to getting things going soon.

this is me just checking in! I'm about 90% done with my partners surprise and hope to send maybe tomorrow or Thursday! I want to finish it up tonight!

Ah, the destined to fail splash print! I love it and sport some of it in great art in my dining room. Everything is great so far!

Yes well it is important to have enough time to craft. I know it seems far away, but when you are making so much stuff, the time is good. I have something else to wrap up first, and then, like I said, I'll start sign ups around the beginning of June.

YAY YAY YAY I am glad to see people are excited. Well, let's keep discussion open for a while longer and then around the first week of June I will start sign ups. I have full intentions of capping it off at 24 participants because more is just too much to keep track of, so keep your eyes peeled!
