LOVE them!  They definitely do not need more flowers.  Wreath making is very addictive! Smiley
12  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Awareness Wreaths :) on: November 26, 2011 09:23:01 AM
I started making these awareness wreaths and I love making them!
To make them weatherproof I've been spraying camp dry on them...does anyone else have any other ideas to help out with protection from the elements?

and some number birthday wreaths Smiley

14  COOKING / Dessert / Re: Jojo's Sweetheart Brownie Bites - Perfect for Valentine's Day on: February 17, 2010 02:12:40 PM
Yumm-o!!  I know that v-day is over, but there is NEVER a wrong time to make brownie bites.  Like, ever.  Well done!
15  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / I love Decoupage, so here I go again! on: February 17, 2010 01:43:39 PM
I have SOOO missed decoupaging.  I love shoes, too, to an unhealthy point...HA!!  I used to decoupage little girls/kids shoes (check out my previous posts) but I am so frightened by the CPSIA, testing, etc., that I have shied away from it.

This is my latest.  I've only shown one shoe, because I ran out of crystals for the second...LOL!  I also think that I need to use smaller crystals on the toe.  The opening of the shoe (where your foot goes) is not complete, because I don't know what to do with that yet.  Probably trim it closely and paint the edge.

The second pic is what they started life at.  They are very boring Ecru Enzo's.  Blech.  Now that I work from home and wear what I please, who needs 'em!?

16  CLOTHING / Shoes: Discussion and Questions / Re: Finding blank shoes for children on: February 17, 2010 05:35:08 AM
A friend of mine, Dana, is running a site called 'Simply Blanks'.  I know her quality is good, because I used to sell the shoes that she is selling! Cheesy  I use them ALL  the time.

The website is www.simplyblanks.net and you can look her up on Facebook under simplyblanks.  She is really easy to work with, too.

19  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / New Bunny Hop Outfit for Preschool Egg Hunt today :) - Img Heavy~ on: April 01, 2009 06:38:36 AM
I made this last night with fabric that Charlee picked out of my stash.  The jeans were a pair that I got from the thrift store for $1.50 and the white tee I got on clearance from Target for .75 last summer.  The shirt is an iron on that I made with a the bunny fabric backing.  The ruffles on the jeans are sewn on and have a little sparkley ric-rac trim.  I made the little ponytail holders with the bottom of the jeans that I trimmed off and a covered button.  What do you think?  I only had an hour and a half to whip this up....

20  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: Fun Little Sunhats I made today...with a cooperative model! (img heavy) on: March 27, 2009 06:44:25 PM
Thank you Smiley

No, I made it up.  It took a little tweaking to get the pieces for the crown just right, but once I did it went smoothly.

My daughter just LOVES them!  I think I might m ake her an initial-tee shirt to match.  She has told me that she is going to wear one ever day, so she will need lots of different ones Cheesy
