We've had two flakers in this swap, and are in need of both an angel (for rachofthejungle) and a replacement partner (for deadbathducky). Replacement partners do not get FOC status like angels, but will get the awesome package deadbathducky has created for her old partner!
PM me if you are interested/would like more details!
Hey guys, we need one angel and one replacement partner, if any of you want to make more of the awesome goodness we all know you're capable of! Deadbathducky needs a replacement partner (so you would be getting the package she planned to send to mljohnston), and rachofthejungle needs an angel.
PM me if any of you would be interested in either situation!
Gorgeous transformation! Also, you have no idea how much I wish you had decided to get rid of that hardware, cause I'd PM you for it in a heartbeat! I have the matching desk (I had the entire bedroom set, but got rid of it many years ago), but one of the pulls broke and I haven't the heart to replace them all. haha.
I started the candied citrus today! Living in south Louisiana, I have plenty of friends with laden citrus trees that were more than happy to donate some delicious local, organic fruit. I used about ten pounds of grapefruit, navel oranges, satsumas, tangelos, meyer lemons, and limes. I'm going to be so frustrated if these don't turn out and I wasted all this yummy fruit!
so it's not the absolute cheapest thing on the planet, but i've been in love with this ever since it was posted: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=278351.0 Personally, I'm doing it for my grandparents this year. I bought trays for about a dollar each at the thrift store, bought a sheet of mosaic glass and grout, plus i've always got clear broken glass lying around because I'm clumsy. Pretty cheap for me!
So, I followed this recipe last year for christmas. The first day, they were great! It was hard not to eat them all, but I was determined to use them for christmas presents so I held off. But a day or two later, no one really seemed to like it. So I tried it, and it was sort of icky. It was all greasy, and the butter made it all... unpleasant. Any idea what I did wrong? Too much butter, maybe? Has this happened to anyone else yet?
You guys, those photos don't to KLKings marvelous work justice! I can't tell you how much use we've gotten out of the car pad, and how much she is in love with the cushion in her kennel (which fits perfectly, btw KLKing). Mom tells me she spent these past weeks trotting around with that big snake in her mouth, and she's wearing that STUNNING collar right now (sleeping at the feet of her sicky momma, aww). As soon as I'm up and about I'll steal mom's camera and get pictures of the stuff I brought here in-action.
I swear, KLKing, I just about cried when I opened this package. Its just so perfect!
