7  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / So I got back into making jewelry...(a little pic heavy) on: August 24, 2010 12:33:31 AM
I hadn't made any jewelry in a while, but I've gotten back into it recently.  I also took some pictures of some of the stuff I'd made before.  I made all of these except the swarovski crystal bracelet, my boyfriend made that one. He's pretty talented :-)

This one has a lampwork bead in the center that my sister made.

I made this set a long time ago, it has lampwork beads that I made when I first learned how to make beads :-)

This one also has a lampwork bead I made

This is the bracelet my boyfriend made. It's so pretty :-)

This one also has a lampwork bead I made...seems I was choosing those for focal beads, hehe.

10  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / A Manly Clock for my Sweetie's "Man Cave" on: March 09, 2010 02:30:03 PM
My boyfriend has a "Man Cave" upstairs in the loft, and he needed a clock for it.  I was looking around for one to purchase, but couldn't find anything I was 100% satisfied with, so even though I'm not a clock maker, I decided to give it a shot, couldn't be that hard, right? Ha.

So after a trip to A.C. Moore and six hours of hard work later (burns, bruises, and broken skin, oh my!) this is what I came up with:

It's intentionally kind of rough looking (it is for a "man cave" after all).  He loves it and I'm pretty happy with it too.

If you want to see more photos, and a rough tutorial, check out this blog post:

As the first clock I've ever made, what do you lovely people think of it?
