I got some superfantabulous nautical fabric from Megstar,

The photo isn't great, but she dyed it as well as printed it, and I LOVE it!
Thank you so much!

Sent in my questionnaire! I'm so excited. It's been two years since my last swap - crazy! I just bought a house with a craft room, so I figure its swapping time again Smiley

Yes welcome back!  I took a huge break too, and just got back into it with my last swap.
Ooh, and congrats on having a craft room!  YAY!

I received from SheepBlue and the fabric is incredible. All I could think when I opened it is that we are so NOT in the same league and I really hope she's not super disappointed with what I made for her.

Thank you so much. I really hope you're ok with what I made, yours is just phenomenal.

I cut the threads to release them from their thread umbillicus, and now I just need to iron them before I print!
Thread umbilicus. I LOVE that.  Cheesy
Also, I did the same thing, but because I chose to "make" my fabric quarters by cutting my own from yards I had, I didn't have the label. Not that I'd read it anyway, because that's no fun.  Roll Eyes

In other news, I have been so sick this past week. I don't think I've ever been so happy for a slight extension of the due date (from the original 5/31 to the 6/3).  I'm normally a horrible procraftstinator anyway, being sick made it even worse.

WOW!  Go, go supersender! I can't believe that you fabby crafty girls are finishing and sending, and as usual I am too caught up in trying to make up my mind to actually get anything done!  I'm going to have to set some time aside and just DO something. Something other than looking at fabric and techniques, that is.

I just wanted to throw out there that I've done the acrylic with fabric medium thing too- but ony for a focal print.  I did a tutorial back in the day
http://pookalakachicka.blogspot.com/2010/07/toot-oriole.html
but that's about it for my experience with printing on cloth.  However, I was at JoAnns yesterday and saw this book:
http://www.amazon.com/Complete-Fabric-Artists-Workshop-Techniques/dp/1589236637/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1366742864&sr=1-1&keywords=the+complete+fabric+artist%27s+workshop
which I had to buy.  I'm sure there are tons of methods in there that I'll never have the skills to do, but maybe it'll give me a few ideas!
