Thanks so much everyone for the really nice comments.  I had so much fun putting these together {even if I did stay up way too late the night before stitching on the binding}.  I've got more ideas brewing for other paper pieced and quilted potholders.

Wow, I never said thank you for all the nice comments.  So, Thanks!!

Just last Friday we used this challa chover and found a little tear in it.  Darn.  Not sure how that happened, but I guess it means that it's time to sew up a new one.

Just a quick post to share the potholders I made for my husband's aunt and uncle.  These were fun to make and even more fun to give.

These are brilliant, what  a kind gift.
Thanks so much.  The momma really liked the towels.  It's always fun to sew for others.  Smiley

8  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / quick change trousers and some little booties on: October 11, 2011 11:21:53 AM
Had to share these little pants that I whipped up for a friend's new little girl.  I used the pattern - Quick Change Trousers - from Anna Maria's sewing book.

Also included these cute little booties.  They're a great stand-by.  You can find the pattern here: http://www.michaelmillerfabrics.com/blog/cloth_shoe.pdf

A few more pictures and details can be found on my blog: http://thelifeofmegananne.blogspot.com/2011/10/sew-baby-quick-change-trousers.html

Where did you get the guitar fabric?  That's great!

The fabric is Heather Ross - far far and away III.  I got it at Hart's Fabrics in Santa Cruz, CA.  But you should be able to find it online or in other local fabric shops.

Both are wonderful. Where did you find the fabric used for the ones on the top? Love it!

I got this fabric at Hart's Fabrics, a LQS.  {hartsfabric.com}  It's by etsuko furuya for KOKKA and has a great heavier weight to it.  Perfect for napkins.
