Oh man, I'm not the only person in the world who does this?!  Haha!  When I was little, this was the only way I would eat grilled cheese.  Yep, a sandwich of processed orange goodness with apple jelly on top.  Grin

You've gotta add Creature Feature to the mix.  They're horror-rock, evil carnival awesome.  The CD is the "Greatest Show Unearthed," which I totally want to plan a party around.

 Grin

Even if they're not your genre or anything, just go listen.  Everyone I've played it for has fallen in love after the title track and "A Gorey Demise."

Man, I can't wait to get started.  It was gonna be today.  I had a couple to AC Moore and everything.

...Then I worked 24 of the past 36 hours, including driving 60 miles to cover in another store after working a full shift in my own, then another 60 miles home...

...I'm kinda wrecked today.  I have tomorrow off, I can't wait to sleep and begin the theraputic crafting.  Ahhh....

5  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: Questions About Hairstyles! on: March 18, 2008 02:51:08 PM
Hey all!

So, I've been considering a rather bold move as of late.  I've always had very thick hair, and due to previous dye jobs, it's rather damaged.  This means it takes a while to make it look decent if it gets wet.  I used to have pink hair, but had to dye it back to natural brown and I'm too nervous to bleach it again.  But I miss the funk factor.  I'm going to be doing the underneath blue and blonde, but I feel like my hair will just break off if I do.  I've got myself psyched up that when that happens, I'm just gonna shave that half off. =D  Now, I'm considering skipping right to that step!  I've played around with how it would look for coverage if my hair was down and it looks decent, and putting it up was 1000% easier and it looked kickass in pigtails.  But I'm hooked on my nerves, so some feedback would be most welcome.  What do you guys think?  Have any of you had undercuts before?  What insight can you give me?  I ran a search here and didn't find very much.

Thanks guys!

ETA:  To be more specific, I'd buzz it off so it'd still be brown (I figure I'd have some roots again) and not shaved to the skin, and from around my ears down in the back.

And for reference, here's what I look like:

And to demonstrate why it's so damaged, and to show I can rock some wild looks too:

And I am approved!  Now I have to get a second person and my camera together to takes some pictures of my ink.  UrsulaDiamond, I can relate to your problem--two of mine are on the backs of my arms, and that'll be a pain to photograph myself.  Grin

For now I'll just talk about 'em.  I have Thor's Hammer on my right arm, the Gripping Beast on my left, six zebra-striped stars on my stomach and an old school-inspired dice and cards on my right calf.

10  CLOTHING / Shoes: Discussion and Questions / Re: White Dr. Martens Boots...what to do? on: November 29, 2007 01:22:04 PM
Paint 'em up!  I've seen some really nice boots turned zebra stripe, leopard print, or my favorite was a black and white pop art look.  Hopefully that helps!
