Oh these are awesome! Great detail work  I started to run into fuzzy felt too and then I switched from acrylic to ecospun polyester. I also started to paying really close attention to how tight the fabric fibers are when I buy it and have noticed a BIG difference.

I did it!!! Even if it doesn't look half as good as yours!
