5  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / Re: Tinting with crayons on: May 31, 2008 01:52:53 PM
Ya, I've had that happen before.  When I iron on the transfer, and then go back over with an iron (normally, I'm adding other transfers/patterns, and my iron brushes up against a previosly ironed on pattern, and it "erases" the pattern).  But, I was trying to follow the whole lay the pattern, color, iron, then embroidery, so I didn't jack up the stitching.  I really wanted to use this idea for a wedding shower gift that I need, tomorrow Cheesy  Nothing like waiting till the last minute.

If anyone else struggles with this issue, please let me know how you get around it.

Tks--D

OK, I was totally stoked about this idea.  I ironed on my Sublime pattern, took out my crayons and went to coloring.  Then, covered with paper, and ironed.  Oh, wait, the rest of my pattern, that I didn't color, is now gone.............
Anyone else run across this?  If so, how did you resolve?
Tks!!
