What a ton of work - and it looks lovely!  I'm sure you'll enjoy wearing this!  I like how the embroidery ties in with the red of the inner sleeves.  Nice work!

My son asked me to make him a quilt with a turtle on it.  I drew the turtle myself, and  appliqued it onto the center square by hand.  Then I spent four days from morning to night cutting and sewing strips around the 8-1/2 inch squares that were cut from a sea turtle-themed batik I ordered online from a quilt shop in Hawaii.
