1  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / abrasive/coarse yarn. [scrubbies] on: September 17, 2007 07:15:45 PM
i cannot seem to find out where to find it. it's abrasive, coarse, and thick. i've seen it, i know it exists, but i cannot find it anywhere. i've tried all sorts of searches.
2  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / One Stitch [sewing gun-type thingy... ??] on: July 13, 2007 01:48:12 PM
i saw a commercial for a one-stich sewing thingy on hgtv, and now i cannot remember what it's called. i'm hoping someone can help me, and even better, if one of you used it, if you can tell me if it's worth it.

it loads plastic thingys like what you find on clothing attaching tags. they market it as a quick hemming, button replacement and other fast one-stitch fixes.

i want to use it to attach tags to my monkeys... and i cannot, for anything, remember what it's called.

it's not the buttonere.
3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / lemons, limes and watermelon... OH MY!!! on: May 04, 2007 01:31:14 AM

I'm working on finding the felt for orange, grapefruit and a couple different apple colors. i even started a strawberry shaped one. orange has been kinda hard to locate... i found a creamy wool felt. i don't want to use synthetic stuff. ever since i started using wool, i don't want to go back.

[even though i have a box full of the synth stuff.]

these are 5" at the zipper. i use a lime on in my own purse. i love it... if i do say so myself.

being pregnant, limeade and lemonade [cherried, or not] have been my major cravings. there's a line of pincushions to match.
4  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / sock monkeys... on: May 01, 2007 11:04:46 PM
I wanted to share some of my sock monkeys... i cannot remember if i had joined and done this yet, but didn't find them searching, so... here goes.
