1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Re: Aluminum cuff on: July 19, 2007 08:19:41 PM
Well, I don't know much, but you can buy aluminium strips at AB Dick (I think thats the name). They can be used in loomed bracelets.  The edges are very sharp and are usually taped before they are covered.  I would think aluminum wouldn't hold its shape too well.  Its usually too soft.

PS: However do you determine what sayings to put on your pendants?!?

I really like your style.  I looks like a great way to spend quiet time.  You are for sure the queen of cardboard--or scissors--or a craft knife with a steady hand.  Anyway, you're good. (and you look familiar)

does anyone know where to get Lacy's Stiff Stuff.  It would be used to sew seed beads on to make jewelry.

I like what you make. I have been making jewelry for 20+ years.  Shows are hard. No matter what you have, someone wants something else. You have to find a way for yours to stand out from the rest.  Money is getting tighter (gas prices you know) so people will spend if it's unique. I agree about the silver--copper is the eye catcher right now.
