3  Stork Jack O Lantern in Halloween Decor and Parties by CeciliaTmontoya on: October 20, 2010 06:41:21 PM
Still awaiting the big day so I'm still a little baby obsessed. Since she's due November 4th I figured I almost had to carve a pumpkin just for her and take pictures for her baby book.

4  Rubber Ducky Sign for Daughter's Nursery in Interior Decorating: Completed Projects by CeciliaTmontoya on: October 17, 2010 11:25:12 PM
There is a gigantic hole in the door leading into the bathroom from the nursery and it's killin me! Recently me dad invested in some new custom cutting boards for his kitchen and gave me his old one. And what do we do when we need to cover up holes and have random spare cutting boards lying around? We paint them =)

5  Blue Nursery for a Baby Girl in Interior Decorating: Completed Projects by CeciliaTmontoya on: September 21, 2010 07:39:20 AM
If you're anything like my mother-in-law, chances are you'll hate this. But we like it and we're hoping that Saffron (due Nov 4th ) will like it too =)

I love how her quilt came out. It's my first!

I covered her wall letters with the leftover fabric from her quilt.

6  Redone Wipe Case in Baby Showers And Gifts For New Babies by CeciliaTmontoya on: September 21, 2010 07:11:41 AM
I LOVE this one! 2nd time's the charm plus I wasn't feeling the pink leopard. I used fabric from my daughter's baby quilt so this one matches her stuff much better.

8  Pink and white leopard print wipe case in Baby Showers And Gifts For New Babies by CeciliaTmontoya on: September 11, 2010 02:00:33 PM
Inspired by the desire to have prettiness even in the shittiest situations.
First try and not completely satisfied. (Notice the ribbon) Plus I'm not too crazy about the general theme. But again, not too terrible for a first timer.

9  Baby Ring Sling in Baby Showers And Gifts For New Babies by CeciliaTmontoya on: August 22, 2010 09:35:48 AM
I made this for my daughter due early November! I used pictures of the Maya wrap slings as reference. The tail isn't as long as I'd like but I think we'll survive. Plus, I'm hoping I'll shrink when she comes out Wink

10  Porcelain Human Heart For The Husband. in Valentine's Day by CeciliaTmontoya on: February 10, 2010 12:34:48 AM
It's our first Valentine's Day as husband and wife <3
The heart is made of this moldable porcelain stuff I got at Hobby Lobby and my sculpting skill are less then perfect so I took the lazy road and found this killer jello mold online for 2 bucks!
I'm assuming I didn't press hard enough when I was trying to fill the mold because a lot of the detail didn't turn out. It still has the general shape which is what matters, I suppose. Add a few coats of paint and voila! Easy peasy anatomical heart for Valentine's Day.

The Final Product

Still in the mold.

I carved a quote into the bottom that I thought suited us. (Excuse the bad penmanship.)
